Recurring Activities for Kids

 Moving & Grooving With Miss Anna 

Select Mondays at 10:30am

Clap your hands, stomp your feet, let’s sing and chant to the music beat!

Anna leads music and movement classes that engage and delight young children.  Drawing from many genres of music, Anna designs a joyful environment that promotes music, literacy, and brain development.

​

Musical story time for young children (Birth-4years) and their caregivers. Siblings welcome.

Early Years Playgroup

Thursdays at 10:30am

Babies, toddlers and caregivers are invited to play and meet new friends.

Friday Storytime

Fridays at 10:30am

Early literacy experiences for our littles. Read, sing and play with Miss Nancy. Especially for children Birth to 3 years, siblings welcome.

Saturday Storytime

Saturdays at 9am

Early Literacy Activities for households with young children 9:00-10:00 am, before the library opens. Read, sing, play, and make new friends.

Chair Yoga

We stretch, strengthen and breathe in this gentle, playful class. 

 

Free weekly sessions at the Stowe Free Library with Kate Graves of Stowe Yoga Center and certified teacher of Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga.

Then schedule a half hour session with Tech Services Librarian, Maggie, on Wednesdays between 2-3pm.

 Connections   Cafe

A welcoming space for individuals living with dementia, cognitive disorders, or other debilitating conditions, along with their caregivers.

 

Socialize, enjoy music, play games, drink tea or coffee, and build connections.

 

Open to all and free of charge. No registration required.
